Fall golf brings a welcome reprieve from those blistering mid-summer rounds. And with cooler temps come cooler clothes.

We've rounded up our favorite fall golf apparel for 2025, and we've tried most of these pieces ourselves. From joggers and crew necks to rain pants and vests, this is the hottest golf gear for your autumn rounds.

The Perfect Sweater

For golfers who prefer a classy look with a hint of flex, this Nike Tour Golf Sweater blends polish and performance to perfection. Clean lines, a traditional fit, and the iconic Nike Swoosh on the chest make a clear statement while remaining understated.

Coming from one of the global leaders in performance apparel, it’s no surprise that this layer doesn’t just look good, but it performs. Made from soft fabric and tailored with an easy fit, it’s designed to move with you on and off the course. Available in both women’s and men’s fits, this will be a go-to piece in any player’s fall golf collection.

This Is Warm Yet Lightweight

Reebok Golf is back, and the best part is that the line extends way beyond shoes. This lightweight vest is the ideal layer for fall rounds when the temps at your tee time might be 15 degrees cooler than when the final putt drops.

While it’s lightweight, the inside is fleece-lined, so it provides all the warmth you need. It also has convenient side pockets to stash the essentials.

The for on and off the Course

These joggers from Peter Millar are perfect for any occasion, whether it’s a round of golf or an afternoon of apple picking.

Made of ECONYL and spandex, these pants are lightweight and breathable while providing the must-have four-way stretch for the course.

The back pocket is virtually hidden, yet provides a convenient spot for a golf glove or scorecard.

These are Disguised as Chinos

Fall golf inevitably includes rainy days on the golf course. But don’t let that stop you. The Galway Bay Claddagh Chino Rain Pant is the perfect hybrid of a traditional chino and a premium rain pant.

These pants offer 30K waterproof and breathability protection. Even the seams are waterproof sealed. In other words, these stand up to even the most unrelenting rain.

However, you’d never know it from looking at them. If you think all waterproof golf pants look like windbreaker bottoms, think again. The Claddagh Chino looks like a modern golf pant, and even offers four-way stretch.

These Branded Bills Golf Hats Are Everywhere

Branded Bills golf hats have officially taken over the pro shop at my home course, and after testing them out, I can see exactly why.

The colors are rich, they have just the right hint of stretch, and they perform better than any hat I’ve used on the course.

The ventilated styles are great for obvious reasons, but I put the wheat-colored, water-repellent cotton canvas style through the ringer, walking 18 holes in 95-degree heat, dripping with sweat the entire time. I was fully expecting to have the unsightly brim stain that golfers are all too familiar with, but there’s not a single pigment of discoloration to be seen. It’s easily the most impressed I’ve been with a golf hat.

The , Spiked, Waterproof Golf Shoes

The Payntr Eighty Seven SC is one of my favorite golf shoes of the year, and it’s perfect for fall golf. Not only is it Payntr’s first waterproof golf shoe, so you’re protected even in the diciest fall golf conditions, but it’s spiked to deliver tour-level traction.

Beyond that, it’s a sleek shoe. Jason Day put his design touches on the Eighty Seven SC and hit it out of the park with this one.

This Does it All

I didn’t even know it was possible to pack this many features into one polo, but somehow Bad Birdie managed to load this Dripity Drip polo with UPF 50 sun protection, anti-odor protection, four-way stretch, stay-right collar, and superior moisture management.

The design is modern without being over the top, plus it’s very versatile. I used Bad Birdie’s size guide and wound up with a medium that fit exactly how Bad Birdie intended this “athletic fit” top to fit.

This Top is Sleek & Versatile

This is one of the most versatile women’s tops of the season.

Thanks to the elbow-length sleeves, it works for both the warm early-fall days and the cooler late-fall temperatures.

On the course, it pairs with pants or a skirt for a sophisticated look, thanks in part to the lapel collar and sailor neckline. Off the course, it works just as well with a pair of jeans for a more relaxed look or one of those on-the-go autumn days.

This is My New Favorite Crew Neck

Hoodies in golf are normalized by now, but they’re also losing popularity thanks to the emergence of a new outer-layer trend: Crews.

This Radmor Perkins 2.0 Loop Terry Crew just might be my favorite layer. It even has me hoping the final days of summer will give way to cooler fall temps that call for this sweatshirt.

The design is clean with a modest logo on the chest, and the fabric is a blend of cotton and elastane that delivers comfort with just enough stretch to move with your swing.

Here's Why These are Perfect for the Course

Your search for the perfect fall shades is over. The thing I love the most about the Torrey Pines Sport Fairway from Knockaround – besides the price – is that they have the perfect tint. Not too dark, not too light. I never have to take them off when light conditions change, which is a huge annoyance with some other sunglasses.

I also appreciate that these are not polarized because polarized lenses can distort depth perception, making it tough to track a ball down the fairway.

This Checks All the Boxes

Luxury women's golf apparel that looks good, feels good, and is made for the course. For whatever reason, that's much harder to find than it should be, but MidSpring has it in spades.

This golf cart sweater is made for fall days on the course. With a chic golf vibe and a warm 100% cotton construction, it can handle cooler temps and any swing.

This Fall-Festive Polo is Sharp, Comfortable, & Affordable

I love finding golf polos I actually want to wear for under $75, but it’s becoming harder and harder to do these days.

This Black Plaid style from Moonballs, however, fits the bill. The black and white plaid design fits my fall style perfectly, and the material is lightweight and comfortable. Plus, and this might seem trivial, but it’s a big deal to me, the sleeves are the perfect length, and the fit is spot on.

And if your budget is $75 or less, you’ll have cash to spare. This polo checks in at $55, and that’s before our readers save 30% with code GOLFLINKUS at checkout.

Your New

These Players Joggers from Bad Birdie check all the boxes. From the comfortable and performance-inspired four-way stretch, to the perfectly placed pockets for tees, balls, and your scorecard, topped off with an athletic fit and look.

When the temperatures start to drop, and it’s time to put the shorts away, grab the Players Jogger.

This Surprised Me

Pluto executes the golf-lifestyle blend as well as anyone, which is why the Boy Pluto Tee is great for fall days off the course (or on it, if that’s the vibe of the course).

The Boy Pluto logo is quickly gaining recognition and it’s all that’s needed to pull of this shirt.

Pluto’s size guide easily leads you to the perfect fit, and I was impressed by the sturdy construction of this shirt, which I later found is because of the heavier 7.5 oz cotton that Pluto uses.

Here's Why This is Perfect for Fall Golf

The Origin RTX Hoodie is perfect for moderate to warm fall days on the golf course. The build is ultra-thin, and this is actually a cooling hoodie, built with temperature-regulating minerals that keep you cool when temperatures warm up.

Not only is it a cooling hoodie, but it offers up to UPF 50 protection, so you might not want to take it off at all, even when the cool morning air gives way to blistering afternoon sun.

This Chic New Brand is Taking Over

Honey is one of the newest women’s golf apparel brands, and the brand was actually founded by three field hockey teammates from UNC who took up golf after their collegiate field hockey careers ended. They set out to create women’s golf apparel with modern style that appeals to younger women.

Honey’s body suits are the foundation of the collection, and the foundation of the perfect golf outfit. Pair it with a skirt for skort functionality with no tucking required, and layer a crew neck to complete the look.

The crew neck is cropped to hit at the hip, delivering a modern look that is hard to find in golf apparel.

This Delivers the Best of Both Worlds

A black jacket is a fall must, and The Sport Jacket from Lohla Sport is excellent on or off the course.

The quilted body provides warmth while the lightweight windbreaker sleeves allow you to swing easily.

It all adds up to one great-looking jacket that can be the staple of your fall wardrobe.

The Perfect

A good golf vest is a non-negotiable for fall golf, and this Windproof Golf Vest from Lululemon doesn’t compromise. It’s thin, so you never have to worry about it impeding your swing. Plus, it’s windproof and water-resistant, so it holds up to all the elements fall golf throws at you.

These NOMATIC Four-Way Stretch Pants Beg You to Wear Them for Golf

These days, it can be hard to tell golf pants from gym pants disguised to look like golf pants. Let’s be clear, these NOMATIC Outset Pants are golf pants. Comfortable, four-way stretch, functional golf pants.

Rather than using spandex or elastic to ensure the Outset pant moves with your stride and your swing, NOMATIC used a “polyester thread that is warp-knitted to create a mechanical stretch.”

That process is beyond my pay grade, but I can tell you that they offer fantastic comfort for walking, the perfect warmth you need for fall rounds and all the structure you’d expect from a real pant (not a gym pant in disguise).
